As a youngster Rena performed in local theater groups and was featured in her high school productions. At Stern College for Woman in New York City, Rena performed in a charity fundraiser event as well as student organized Arts Festival programs.

Rena has been fortunate to take private voice lessons from exceptional teachers including Dorothy Dash, soprano and former chairman of the music dept, Duke Ellington School of Music, Washington, D.C. After high school, Rena continued to study voice in Israel with a graduate from the New England Conservatory of Music. In New York City Rena has studied with Marni Nixon, the singing voice of Deborah Kerr, Natalie Wood and Audrey Hepburn in their respective movie musical soundtracks. Most recently, Rena has studied with Dr. William Riley, vocal coach to Celine Dion, Faith Hill and others.

She graduated with a BS in Marketing from Stern College for Women, Yeshiva University in May 2006.
